Description

Maryland-born (Cecil County) Vic Willis was certainly a hard-worker, completing 388 games out of a total of 471 starts. "The Delaware Peach" is one of the most fleeting Hall of Fame baseball signatures due to both his early death (1947) and his late induction into Cooperstown (1995). Willis is the subject of this 5x3 index card encapsulated and graded MINT 9 by PSA/DNA. The potent black signature also has a with pleasure salutation and a Newark, Dela. inscription. Newark, Delaware was the place where Willis grew up and pitched after his major league career. A must-have for serious Hall of Fame autograph collectors, this prize is remarkably well preserved. This item has a reserve (estimated value: $6,500-$10,000).
