These black-and-white premiums feature action-packed images by aviation artist Ted Grohs. The Los Angeles-based artist illustrated a variety of legendary American aircraft from the World War II era on these 8-1/2 x 11" advertising pieces, including the Lockheed YP-38 Interceptor Pursuit, the Boeing B-17-B Army Bomber "Flying Fortress" and the Grumman F5F1 Navy Skyrocket Fighter. The premiums were released in two series of twelve items, apiece. Presented here are twelve entries from Series A (#'s 1-12, inclusive: the complete series) and ten from Series B (#'s 2, 3 and 5-12). Each depiction shows the Fuller Paints logo at the bottom-left corner, and the artist's name at the bottom right. The blank-backed pieces are printed on sturdy, off-white cardstock, and were clearly designed for individual framing. Condition is at least EX (central images much nicer) with mild to moderate, peripheral wear from storage and handling.
