After a rookie year with the Royals, David Cone followed it up with six seasons with the Mets en route to a successful 17-year career that saw him amass 2,668 strikeouts. Cone’s New York (NL) career is chronicled with this 1987-89 game used professional model bat. The Louisville Slugger 34”/32 oz. C271 features heavy use including ball, stitch and bat rack marks, pine tar on the handle and moderate deadwood.  The knob and the barrel end both have “44” written on in Sharpie marker.
