Big-time big league hitters populate this collection of vintage Hartland Statues. This lot of (5) gleaming figures boast four members of the “500 HR Club” and one great hitter who came up just short of joining them and is remembered as one of baseball’s all-time leading batsmen. These handsome fellows display excellent original detail, with generally strong paint, bright gloss, white to off-white uniforms and realistic visages to average (EX-MT to NM-MT) in condition quality. All stand freely and come with bats when applicable.
Willie Mays in his famous basket catch pose, a few small stray marks appear on reverse, otherwise very sharp
Ted Williams with bat following through on his swing, back foot sits on small round base, overall very clean and pleasing
Stan Musial with bat in batting stance, very minor traces of soiling behind left arm, paint on cuffs and stirrups slightly soft, uniform is bright and overall appearance is very pleasing
Ernie Banks with bat in batting stance, paint and details are sharp, gloss is a bit lesser than the other pieces, back elbow shows minor separation and there is a bit of factory residue on the top hand
Harmon Killebrew with bat in mid-swing, stands on home plate base which is slightly curled at opposite end, overall very pleasing with bright white uniform
