Put the finishing touches on your Hartland Plastics “Original 18” baseball statue collection with this lot of odd issue items. Offered are (6) generic pieces issued in conjunction with the original Hartland 1958-1962 baseball series. These figures are the Bat Boy, a mini-pennant and (4) different variations of the Minor Leaguer, all in better to like-new condition.

The 5” tall Bat Boy was originally marketed under the name “Little Leaguer” by due to objections by the Little League Baseball Association, this piece was pulled and renamed “Bat Boy” after 80% of the manufactured pieces were destroyed. The piece included with this lot is sealed in a poly bag and presents like-new with no discernible traces of wear.

The 12” long pennant is crimson with white lettering and accent strip and presents (NM-MT) with just minor traces of wear on the points. Former Hartland employee Frank Fulop has signed (“9”) on the accent strip with “The Best” salutation.

Marketed as automobile dashboard decorations with magnets, cake toppers or trophy toppers, the (4) 4” tall Minor League variations (no magnets included) are: (2) dashboard decorations/cake toppers with: 1.) painted with black base (NM+) with just a slight touch of wear on the right side of the cap and 2.) painted with white base (EX-MT) with minor wear on the cap and back and stray paint marks on the base; (1) trophy topper painted all gold (EX) with small, scattered bits of paint loss; (1) unpainted (NM) with a few small bits of soling on the back.
