In the midst of five straight American League West Division first place finishes, the Oakland Athletics took on the New York Mets in the 1973 World Series. This time the Mets proved a bit less amazing, as the came up out on the short end in a low scoring seven-games series, even though they outscored the pitching rich A's 24-21 for the series. Recall the super-talented A's triumph with this fantastic pair of full tickets from Games 6 and 7 at Oakland-Alameda County Stadium. These postseason treasures have been graded by leading certification service PSA with the Game 6 full ticket having earned a remarkable (MINT 9) designation, while the Game 7 full ticket registered a respectable (GD 2) rating. Flip notations include a Hunter-Seaver pitching match-up in Game 6 (won by Hunter) and "Oak. A's 2nd Title/MVP Jackson" for Game 7.
