From 1996 to 2000 the New York Yankees enjoyed another of those World Series runs they're famous for, winning four championships in five years, including the last three straight. Enter the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001 with their unbeatable 1-2 pitching tandem of Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling. Even with this dominant pair of aces, the Diamondbacks still need all seven games to claim their first and only title to date. This exciting event saw five one-run games, including two that went extra innings and several Diamondbacks offensive barrages, as the Arizona franchise became the fastest expansion team to win a World Series (in their fourth year of existence). From one the greatest and most thrilling baseball championship series ever comes this package of desirable event souvenirs. Featured are: (2) PSA graded full tickets with Game 4 from Yankee Stadium (NM-MT 8) and the lot highlight, a Bank One Ballpark ticket from the Game 7 series clincher (NM 7); and (1) program (VG) due to corner fold-crease, otherwise presents a couple of grades higher.
