Description

Fine assortment of (85) 1909-11 T206 White Borders that were just rediscovered after decades of concealment. With only five exceptions, this single family gallery is comprised of either Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. Although each card displays varying degrees of creasing, these timeless illustrations still present exceptionally well. Due to rudimentary factory printing techniques of the day, centering/size variances are present. Includes:

Hall of Famers/Southern Leaguer: (5 cards, all Piedmont backs, unless noted) with M. Brown (GD, Cubs on Shirt), Chance (FR, Batting, pen marks), Coles (GD, Augusta, Old Mill), Kelley (GD), McGraw (GD, Glove at Hip);

Polar Bear: (4 cards) with Dorner (GD), Fiene (VG, Portrait), Ritter (VG), Scott (PR);

Others: (76 cards, 49% VG, 46% GD, 5% FR or lesser) with Abbaticchio (Brown Sleeves), Abbott, Bridwell (Portrait, with Cap), Burke, Conroy (with Bat), Cree, Delehanty, Dessau, Donlin (Seated), Donovan (Throwing), Dooin, L.
