Outfielder Homer Peel was paid $750/month for his 53 games in '29. The VG contract features "8-9" signatures of Peel, Club Owner/President William F. Baker (shortly before his death), succeeding Club President Gerald P. Nugent and League President John Heydler. Handwriting and typewriting acknowledge Peel's trade to St. Louis in December 1929.

Better-known pitcher Si Johnson's contract promises $5,750 for the '41 season. Johnson and Nugent's signatures rate "8-9" on the EX-condition document.
