Description

Sherbrooke, Quebec is likely a cold place to play baseball in the early spring, meaning that this leather jacket was put to good use. The circa 1940s brown and red accessory features moderate to heavy wear including tears, dirt marks and other forms of use. The left breast has a 5x5 circular "Club de Baseball Sherbrooke" logo. Orange and brown piping lines the collar & the fringes of the jacket and a zipper is near the bottom of both sides of the jacket. It is unclear precisely what team the jacket represents, as the Pirates of the Eastern League in the 1970s is the only known minor league team in Sherbrooke.
