A "Phils Phest" comes to the table with this autograph grab bag collection. Featured are (43) items signed by players, managers and executives who toiled for the Philadelphia Phillies between the 1920s and the 2000s. This inspiring assortment of balls, flats, books and caps boasts quality autographs ranging (“7” to “10”) in strength on materials in generally excellent condition, unless noted. HOFers Richie Ashburn and Mike Schmidt figure prominently into the mix, along with contributions by HOFers Steve Carlton and Robin Roberts and long gone toughies such as Willie Jones (d.1983), Gavvy Cravath (d.1963), Pinky Whitney (d.1987) and Cy Williams (d.1974).
