Description

A 33-yard field goal by Luke Johnson and a five yard rush from Carl Brumbaugh opened up a 9-0 lead for the Bears in a game that was scoreless at halftime. The Bears hung on to win 9-6 after a Glenn Presnell 42-yard TD pass to Bill McKalip was too late to stop the Chicagoians from winning their fourth game before a crowd of 25,000 at Wrigley Field on November 8, 1931. This official program is technically low-grade due to chipping on the top edge and age-induced foxing, but it looks better with bold red-and-blue color scheme and two "Bear" logos on opposite sides of the top. The scorecard has the final score posted inside the "4th quarter" slot". Legends Red Grange, Bronko Nagurski & George Trafton appear on the Bears roster.
