Description

Includes:

Circa 1910s Carlisle Indians College Graphic pennant: oversized 33x14 pennant is resplendent with a stunning Native American applique and elegant gold lettering on a vibrant crimson field. While the captivating applique remains full, there are traces of wear you would expect in such an ancient souvenir. The school name lettering is nearly full, but the last three letters are moderately affected by some soiling. There is a 1x1 section of material loss on the left edge just above the bottom set of tassels and in addition to typical pinholes at the end points, there are a few moth holes scattered in the field

Circa 1920s Carlisle Indians College Graphic pennant: oversized 32x13 pennant with a bold “Chief” applique with white lettering against a crimson background. The applique is mostly free of cracking and the lettering is stained by wear. In addition to typical pinholes at the end points, there are a few moth holes scattered in the field, however, tassels are completely intact and colors are bold and vibrant. Presents well considering its age.
