The first National League player to reach the 500 home run plateau, former New York Giants slugger Mel Ott (d.1958) is the subject of this trio from his estate. This chance to own things that were handled by the slugger himself should not be missed by collectors. The items are well preserved for their age, presenting in average (VG-EX) condition. Includes: 1) 1937 All-Star Game Lambert Brothers black 4-1/2 x 3" wallet with "Melvin Ott All Star 1937" in gold print on interior; 2) 1942 All-Star Game brown leather 4x7" wallet with "National League All Star 1942 Army-Navy Relief Melvin Ott" in gold print on interior and 3) Mel Ott 3-1/2 x 5-1/2" George Brace photo postcard. Comes with a photocopy of a letter from Mrs. Ott documenting is ownership of the items.
