Released by Hyatt Manufacturing in commemoration of the decade since the 1896 Baltimore Orioles conquered the National League, this 1906 “Our Old Champions” pinback is a remarkable artifact from a bygone era. The 1-3/4” heirloom displays clear sepia images of the squad including Hall of Famers Hanlon, Jennings, Keeler, Kelley, McGraw and W. Robinson along with dark text. Presents in (EX to Mint) condition with only superficial abrasions to the celluloid finish and a moderately worn, but tightly attached paper liner. Moderate perimeter staining does not adversely affect the overall presentation of this antiquity. The metallic pin is sharp, tightly intact and must have been worn as a “badge of honor” by its original owner.
