Japanese home run king Sadaharu Oh is captured in action, with this black and white batting photograph. Formatted with rounded corners, this 8-3/8" x 11-3/4" photograph freezes Oh's swing just after the point of contact, making for a truly dynamic scene. Oh has signed in Japanese vertical fashion at right, and his bold scripting is as dynamic as his swing. The back features a typed notation indicating that this signed photograph was gifted to Hank Aaron by Sadaharu Oh. Though moderate wear is noted, including several creases, this vintage photograph remains appealing, and suitable for framing.
