Pittsburgh Pirates starter Ray Kremer got the 3-2 win over Alex Ferguson of the Washington Senators. Hall of Famer Goose Goslin started off the minimal scoring with a home run in the first, but the Pirates Eddie Moore accounted for the game-winning hit with a home run in fifth, wrapping up the day's offensive output.
