Description

Size matters. Measuring a large 16x20, this iconic print has roughly 200 times the surface area of a typical signed cutand Cobb's autograph and inscription are huge to boot! What's more, the "9-10" script (in Ty's trademark green ink) is perfectly situated for maximum visual contrast. Not to mention the fact that original recipient Jim Armstrong just so happens to have been one of the hobby's pioneering early autograph collectors. Illustrated by famed pin-up artist William Medcalf, the Brown & Bigelow print is collectible in its own right (even unsigned). It bears subtle faint creasing throughout but presents far nicer for display, with a bright, colorful appearance and no apparent fading whatsoever. As a point of reference, it's worth noting that a similar Cobb-signed Medcalf print sold at auction back in 2006 for over $3,500. Full LOA from JSA.
