Description

While Ken Griffey’s longball exhibition in the Home Run Derby festivities was a tough act to follow, the American League All-Stars posted a 9-3 triumph at the 1993 Midsummer Classic at Baltimore’s Oriole Park at Camden Yards. This Official 1993 All-Star Game ball is autographed by (22) members of that Junior Circuit squad. The lightly toned sphere (grade “6-7”) showcases blue ballpoint pennings that average (“8-9”) potency and include: Sweet Spot: Gaston (manager); North Panel: Vaughn, White, Molitor, Thomas (inscribed “35”), Puckett, Belle and Olerud; South Panel: Gonzalez, Carter, Tenace (coach), Alomar (inscribed “12”) and Sullivan (coach); West Panel: unidentified, Steinbach, Rodriguez, Fryman and Palmer (honorary captain); East Panel: Montgomery, Griffey, Jr. and Fielder; Reverse Sweet Spot: Anderson (coach). Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.
