Now pulling in to Auction Central Station is a Marx "Commodore Vanderbilt Stream Line" electric train set. Sold back in the the late-1940s, this seventy year old set remains in pleasing condition. Housed in it original factory box with blue lettering on the lid, this set includes (7) metal trains, with a black locomotive, a black tender and (5) red "Pullman" cars. All of the trains are in excellent condition with a strong degree of original paint and the box reports in better state with deference to modest clear tape reinforcements on the two front corners. Also included is a "Model No. 709" transformer with a securely attached cord with two-prong plug.
