Perennial near-misses in Flatbush finally gave way to a long-awaited World Series conquest in 1955. But three years later, the beloved Dodgers were in Los Angeles, leaving the collective Brooklyn faithful betrayed and heartbroken. These (48) flats are autographed by Ebbets Field staples. Highlights include:

Ralph Branca/Bobby Thomson: a 14x11” sepia-toned print of Branca mockingly choking his Harlem-based rival as the Giants prepared for the 1951 World Series opener at Yankee Stadium. The photo is signed in blue marker by Branca and Thomson (both “10” strength). Basic cert card/sticker from JSA

Signed Index Cards: Billy Cox and Pee Wee Reese (both “10” strength); individual basic certs/stickers from JSA

Signed Photographs: 8x10” or 10x8” prints signed in fiber tip marker (average “9-10” strength) with highlights including: Sandy Amoros, Rex Barney, Joe Black, Joe Hatten, Billy Loes, Dick Williams and Ralph Branca/Bobby Thomson. Individual JSA basic certs/stickers

Signed Trading Cards: fiber tip pennings average (“9-10”) strength with: Jim Hughes, Clem Labine, Bob Milliken, Don Newcombe, Johnny Podres, Duke Snider and Bobby Thomson (JSA stickers, the Snider signature is covered by a JSA auction LOA)
