A three-time All-Star and runner-up in the 1984 N.L. Rookie of the Year balloting, Juan Samuel employed these items over a 16-year career with seven different suitors. Includes:
1986-1989 Game-Used Bat: a Louisville Slugger (34-1/2”, 33.6-oz) “S318” signature model white ash weapon with a black “Smith” finish. The uncracked lumber shows heavy use with ball and surface marks throughout, as well as grain swelling and checking on all portions of the barrel.
1983-1989 Signed Game-Worn Cleats: maroon leather accessories with a white striped pattern and “Puma” logo on each. Heavy wear is evident with dirt caked about the six metal cleats on the bottom of each. Samuel has signed the side portion of each in ballpoint pen (both “8” strength).
