An acquired taste for audiences of the late-1960s as it was way ahead of its time, Star Trek “The Original Series” became a cult favorite in syndication and eventually blossomed into one of the biggest Sci-Fi franchises in TV and movie history. This fabulous complete set of (26) factory certified autograph insert cards was released in 1997 by Skybox under the title “Star Trek Autograph Series” as the first series in a continuing effort that also included the other two “TOS” season editions and several spin-offs. These cards are reported in a quantity of “800” signed by each of the featured cast members and guest stars and inserted “1:36” packs, with the exception of (3) keys which were limited to “400” signed cards as noted below. Autographs average pleasing (“9-10”) quality and the cards average (NM-MT to MT) condition, with:

(3) Keys signed in a quantity of “400”: #A1 William Shatner "The Captain", #A23 Joan Collins who guest starred in episode 28 "City on the Edge of Forever" thought by many to be the best of the series and #A25 Majel Barrett “The First Lady of Star Trek”

(12) Semi-Keys are: (4) regular cast members: #A2 James Doohan/Scottie, #A3 Nichelle Nichols/Uhura, #A4 George Takei/Sulu, #A5 Grace Lee Whitney/Yeoman Rand; (1) associate producer: #A6 Robert Justman; and (7) guest stars: #A11 Kim Darby (of True Grit fame) as “Miri”, #A13 Clint Howard (Ron’s younger brother who starred in Gentle Ben), #A17 Ricardo Montalban as villain “Khan Noonien Singh” in the classic episode “Space Seed”, #A19 Madlyn Rhue as Khan’s babe, #A20 Malachi Thorne (star of The Man from UNCLE), #A24 Michael J. Pollard who was nominated for an Oscar for his role in “Bonnie and Clyde”and #A26 Sherry Jackson who played a mega-hot android in the episode “What Are Little Girls Made Of?”
