Description

The National Baseball Congress (NBC) has been hosting a semi-pro World Series for barnstorming/town teams since the 1930s. Among the 800 future pro players who have participated is one Satchel Paige. This cap from the NBC's postwar heyday is a KM Pro, size 7-1/8 with an old-fashioned narrow brim notated on the underside with "V" and "C." It displays nicely with some scattered moth holes located primarily at the back.
