Among the many classic prototype issues featuring characters that were later recycled by Marvel Comics head honcho Stan Lee and his talented team, was this Strange Tales #97 issue. This early Silver Age key issue was published by Marvel in 6/62, just a couple of months before Amazing Fantasy #15 hit newsstands. One of the stories featured in the ST #97 anthology type comic book is titled "Good-Bye to Linda Brown" and includes characters named "Aunt May and Uncle Ben" who are an elderly couple taking care of wheelchair bound Linda at their house by the sea. When Spider-Man made the scene for the first time in the 8/62 AF #15 issue, the recycled "May and Ben Parker" accompanied the web-headed wonder.
