Description

From a strike-shortened season and a seamless transition, respectively, these (2) full Super Bowl tickets are well-preserved additions for any gridiron voucher collection. Includes:

Super Bowl XVII: issued at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl for the January 30, 1983 battle between the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins, the colorful voucher is encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA. Facing a halftime deficit of 17-10, the underdog ‘Skins tallied 17 unanswered points to thwart Dan Marino in his elusive quest for a title.

Super Bowl XXIV: issued at the Louisiana Superdome for the January 28, 1990 battle between the 49ers and Denver Broncos, this purple variation is encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA. With George Seifert having taken over for the legendary Bill Walsh, the defending champs posted the worst drubbing in Super Bowl history with a 55-10 thrashing of the Broncos. It marked John Elway’s second of three Super Bowl setbacks in a four-year span. During those futile attempts, Elway’s club was outscored by an aggregate 136-40.
