Journeyman DH Jose Morales enjoyed a twelve year career in the Majors as one the premier pinch-hitters of his day. Morales played for five different teams over the period 1973-1984, leading the league in pinch-hits four times. In recognition of his impressive "contact hitter" skills, he served as a hitting coach for four MLB teams, after retiring as an active player. Presented is a collection of autographs and game worn/used items by Morales and other prominent MLB stars, including jerseys, pants, shoes, hats, batting gloves and photos. Auction LOA from JSA. Carlos Baerga game worn Cleveland Indians #9 jersey with moderate soiling, presents in excellent condition, signed by Baerga ("8-9") on the front left breast

Jose Morales game worn 1996 Florida Marlins uniform with #34 jersey with Morales nameplate and pants signed by Morales ("8") inside the waistband with "#34" inscription, both garments are in excellent condition and have Russell Athletic "Authentic Diamond Collection" labels

Jose Morales game worn c.1991-1993 Cleveland Indians pants with Rawlings label and Morales name and uniform number "34" written inside the waistband, presents in excellent condition

Jose Morales game worn 1996 Florida Marlins white pants with pinstripes in excellent condition and signed by Morales ("7") inside the waistband

Gray pants without accent stripe on sides of legs, has Rawlings label and a number plate with "36 29 96 1" on the inside of the waist band, in excellent condition with minor soiling

St. Louis Cardinals unnumbered jersey in like-new condition with Morales nameplate on back, signed by Jose Morales on the front right breast ("8-9"), comes with long-sleeve red undershirt showing light wear, with Cardinals logo on front of collar and Morales name written inside the collar

Jose Morales game worn pair of Reebok shoes with uniform number "34", both shoes show extensive signs of use/wear and both are signed ("9") in silver on the tongue flaps

Jose Morales game worn pair of Nike shoes both signed ("7-8") on the side "Swoosh" logo, shoes show moderate use/wear

Jose Morales signed ("6") Cleveland Indians hat with uniform number "34" and the date "10-3-93" written on the underside of the bill

Jose Morales signed ("5") c.1982-1984 Los Angeles Dodgers game used Franklin batting glove with "#43" inscription

Jose Morales signed ("9") OML/Manfred baseball (NM-MT) with "#34" inscription

(2) Melvin Nieves signed c.1996-1997 Detroit Tigers hats, both in excellent condition with 1.) signed on the top of an orange bill ("8"); and 2.) signed on the underside of a navy blue bill ("8") with handwritten uniform number "30"

Melvin Nieves game used pair of Wilson batting gloves, in better condition with moderate signs of use/wear, lefthand glove is signed ("9") on the palm with the date inscription "8/26/95"

(18) Jose Morales signed (average "8-9") 8x10 photos (average EX to NM). Morales is seen in all photos including: (15) with other subjects such as Sandy Koufax, Reggie Jackson, George H.W. Bush, Burt Reynolds, Lou Ferrigno, Chuck Connors and a great shot of Jose Morales and Jerry Morales with the backs to the camera and uniform nameplates showing; and (3) photos personalized to Morales' nephew
