Description

The "Game of Sports" is yours to rule with this 1940s-1960s baseball and football player and team endorsed board game lot of (3). Decorated with fantastic artwork, photos and a Johnny Unitas autograph, these vintage pastimes provide great display appeal and unlike the "Game of Thrones" you don't have to sic your dragon on anybody to possess them. Featured are:

1969 Pro/Mentor Enterprises "Johnny Unitas' Football" dual-signed on the lid by Baltimore Colts stars Johnny Unitas ("7-8") and Dan Sullivan ("6"; Auction LOA from JSA), the lid shows moderate wear in the form of splits along the perimeter, tape repairs on the corners and light soiling; the contents are clean and bright with a gridiron field game board, a scoreboard with securely attached indicator arrows, decks of play result cards and a pair of dice

c.1940s Zondine "Los Angeles Rams Football Game", lid shows considerable wear with two small tape repairs and significant splits on the perimeter, however the period artwork graphics remain vivid and appealing; the contents are very attractive with a slotted game board with metal position marker that shows moderate wear and like the lid great graphics and decks of play result cards that also show moderate wear

1960s "Yogi Berra's Big League Baseball" (manufacturer undetermined); bottom lid has several patches of surface loss, including sections on either side of Yogi's head that affect his ears only; contents are much better with baseball diamond game board, a scoreboard with sliding disc indicators, a numbered plastic spinning top that determines play results, a plastic position marker, three used score sheets and an instructions manual
