Interrupted for only the second time in their unfathomable run of 14 pennants in 16 seasons, the 1959 New York Yankees still managed to pace the Junior Circuit with 1,397 hits and 11 shutouts. This baseball is autographed by 29 members of that Bronx Bombers roster. The medium-toned unofficial sphere (grade "6") is home to blue ballpoint pennings that average ("6-7") potency. Includes: Sweet Spot: Berra ("5-6" strength) and Mantle ("4" strength); North Panel: Turley, Turner (coach), Ditmar, Larsen, Houk and Coates; South Panel: Crosetti (coach), Stengel (manager, "7-8" strength), Slaughter ("8" strength), Lopez, Shantz and Allen (announcer, "6-7" strength); West Panel: Blanchard, Bauer, Howard, Brickell (d.1965), Ford ("6" strength) and Duren; East Panel: Blaylock, Kubek, Throneberry, Richardson, Siebern, Terry, McDougald and Grba; Reverse Sweet Spot: Maas. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.
