Description

The model of consistency, Ty Cobb won his eighth of nine successive batting titles in 1914, posting an impressive .368 mark that was slightly higher than his record .367 lifetime mark. This Hillerich & Bradsby bat commemorates Cobb’s 1914 effort. Likely turned during the 1934-1944 labeling period, the 34-1/2” display lumber features Cobb’s 1914 stat line engraved on the barrel. The uncracked weapon features a Hornsby style knob and presents beautifully with a very thin coat of period shellac on the barrel.
