Description

A simultaneous prized possession of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves, multi-sport phenom Deion Sanders paced the NFL in kickoff return yards (1,067), yards per return (26.7) and return TDs (2) in 1992. Also logging a hefty amount of air travel miles, Sanders jetted to and from Braves NLCS and World Series games that October. On the gridiron that year, “Prime Time” wore and autographed this Atlanta Falcons jersey. The black mesh/dazzle cloth pullover garment features “21” displayed on the front, back and shoulders in white-on-red applique, while “SANDERS” is sewn in white-on-red twill to a nameplate just above the back number. On the top horizontal portion of the front “2,” Sanders has signed in black marker (“6-7” strength with minimal fading) and inscribed “21.” Black stretch ribbed knit lines the sleeve endings and V-Neck collar, with an NFL logo badge sewn to the base of the latter location. On the vented left front tail, a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “44” label is accompanied by a fabric content flap tag and a swatch with a chenille-stitched “92” identifier. All original and unaltered, the jersey shows light wear. Accompanying is an auction LOA from JSA (for autograph).
