A purveyor of baseball equipment since the game’s earliest days, the Wright & Ditson Company was a trusted source in multiple sporting arenas. Turned during the early-1900s, this retail model baseball bat bears all the archaic earmarks of lumber wielded during the Deadball Era. The 33” model weighs in at a hefty 39.6 ounces and showcases a dash-dot-dash center brand similar to contemporaries from Hillerich & Bradsby. The model features a flare knob and “Double Oil Tempered” barrel stamping. Incredible diamond use is evident with ball and surface marks throughout, as well as an H-shaped handle crack of 15 inches.
