Barring Ezekiel Elliott who has only played three NFL seasons, Jim Brown is the only running back to average more than 100 yards gained per game throughout an entire career. A powerhouse out of the backfield, Brown spent nine years with the Cleveland Browns making a lot of defenders miss or just plain running over them as pictured in this lot of (4) 1960s Type I professional photographs taken by Ron Kuntz. Presenting in average (EX-MT to NM) condition, these well-preserved photos include a couple of game action shots with: 1.) an 8-1/2 x 6-1/2" image of Brown running past a downed defender who missed badly; and 2.) an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" four-panel sequence of Brown going over multiple defenders. The other photos both measure 7x9 and include: 3.) a candid at home shot with his son; and 4.) a holiday scene with a Christmas tree decorated with large ornaments touting his career achievements through his first eight seasons, which would date this particular photo to late-December, 1964. All of the photos are stamped on the reverse with Ron Kuntz' credit stamp and the two action photos are coated on the reverse with adhesive residue, with no ill effects on the bright and glossy obverses.
