This is a rare one folks. Presented is an early 1900s "Pocket Baseball" game, made by the "Neddy Pocket Game Company" of New York. Due diligence found scant mention of this antique game and just a couple of photos, but no other examples for sale at the time of this listing nor anytime in the past that we could discover. Estimated to date from circa the 1910s-1920s, this antique treasure looks the part with graphics and styling consistent to the period. The front cover is topped with a heraldic banner outlined in gold leaf, with the slogan "The Great American Game". At center of the front also in gold leaf, is the title "Pocket Baseball", with a crossed bats and baseball motif below and at bottom "Neddy Pocket Game Company, New York City", again in gold lettering. The back is formatted with tab and slot panels, also with "Pocket Baseball" in gold on the upper flap. Both of these back flap panels are moderately creased and the bottom flap is split a little more than half way across at the first fold junction. These flaps are printed on the inside with the game's instructions and at bottom with "Price 50 cents". Inside is a pad of unused score sheets in excellent condition with a baseball game scene illustration and a cutout slot for the included pair of original dice, which are also in excellent condition. Other than the described moderate wear on the flaps, this ancient amusement remains very pleasing. Likely one of just a very few survivors of its type, this is one vintage  game seekers shouldn't let go.
