Having suffered a spell of 97 years with zero titles, 61 losing seasons and 25 last-place finishes, the Philadelphia Phillies finally reached the top in 1980, prevailing in the first-ever Fall Classic played entirely on artificial turf. This Phillies road jersey is autographed by (20) members of that World Series champion roster. Framed to 34-1/2 x 38-1/2”, the blue knit button-down garment is displayed to show the front, where the cursive “P” logo is sewn to the left breast in maroon-on-white twill and maroon-and-white trim lines the shoulders/sleeves. Executed in black marker in vertical columns on each side, the scriptings take well to the fabric and average (“8-9”) potency. Includes: Boone, Bowa, Brusstar, Bystrom, Carlton (inscribed “Cy 80”), Christenson, Green (manager), Gross, Luzinski, McBride, Noles, Reed, Rose, Ruthven, Saucier, Schmidt (inscribed “MVP”), Trillo, Unser, G. Vuckovich and J. Vuckovich. Comes with a Mounted Memories hologram
