Description

Added to the big leagues in the latest expansion, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays have already gone to a World Series and abbreviated their mascot name. These apparel items were issued to and/or worn by franchise staples during the club’s brief history. Includes:

Leon Roberts 1999-2000 Game-Worn Batting Practice Jersey: a black mesh pullover garment with “RAYS” angled across the chest in multi-colored aquatic embroidery on a white twill plate with purple outlines. In white-on-back-on white twill, “5” is sewn to the back, while “ROBERTS” is arched just above in solid white block-style twill characters. The jersey features a two-button collar and a team logo patch sewn to the left sleeve. The tapered left front tail is home to a “Majestic” label and a size “50” flap tag. Roberts served as the team’s hitting coach during the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Moderate wear is evident.

1998-2000 Jacket: a black satin-like size “2XL” button-down garment with “DEVIL RAYS” angled across the chest in multi-colored twill, a team logo patch sewn to the right sleeve and an MLB silhouette logo atop the back. Light wear.

1998-2000 Cold Weather Jacket: a black satin-like size “XL” button-down garment with “DEVIL RAYS” angled across the chest in multi-colored twill, a team logo patch sewn to the right sleeve and an MLB silhouette logo atop the back. The jacket features the identical design as the above mentioned item from the same time period, though this jacket has a quilted lining. Light wear.

2001-2007 Warm-Up Jacket: a green nylon pullover garment with blue piping and a team logo sewn to the left breast. The zippered collar’s interior is home to a “Majestic” label and a size “XXL” flap tag. Minimal wear.

(4) Caps:

All feature “New Era” tagging and show moderate wear. Included are (2) different styles from 1998-2000; as well as (2) different styles from 2001-2007.
