Ian Fleming's super spy James Bond made the leap from print to the big screen in 1962, starting a long-running film franchise that is still going strong nearly sixty years later. The first four films in the series are the source for this lot of (2) Philadelphia Gum James Bond complete sets featuring real photos. Issued in 1965 the first set of (66) cards takes scenes from "Dr. No", "From Russia with Love" and "Goldfinger", while the 1966 set of (66) cards is devoted to the film "Thunderball". Housed in a period Topps "Hobby Card Album" in pleasing condition, these exciting cards present spectacular pack fresh quality, with the visible portions of the cards showing average NM to MT details, however a spot check of several examples revealed diagonal surface impressions at the point where the cards make contact with the album page slots.
