None the worse for wear in his 19th season, 37-year-old Walter Johnson logged his 500th career complete game and notched 20 or more triumphs for the 12th time during the 1925 season. Authoring compete game No. 501 and career victory No. 396, Johnson edged the Philadelphia A’s, 2-1 (helping his cause with three hits and a run scored) on September 7 at Shibe Park. Encapsulated and Graded FR 1.5 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued for that afternoon’s game. The lone graded example, this colorful voucher features printed seating/event details, as well as the facsimile signature of Athletics team and baseball operations manager Connie Mack.
