The 1970s was a decade filled with feature films that were game changers for their genres. Blockbusters such as "The Exorcist", "The Godfather", "Jaws", "Star Wars" and "Animal House" ushered in an explosive era of growth for the film industry, that shattered the boundaries of conventional movie making while taking viewers on an unforgettable stream of thrill rides. As the '70s were coming to a close, Ridley Scott took us on a terrifying space trip with the crew of the "Nostromo" for our first encounter with the "Alien" franchise.
