Description

Transplanted after an oft-woeful stay in Boston, the Braves enjoyed incredible success in Milwaukee, pacing the league in attendance for each of their first six seasons in the Midwest and never enduring a losing season during their 13-year stay. Issued at County Stadium during the 1957 World Series, this program is autographed by (33) members of the Braves and Yankees rosters. The 40-page guide presents beautifully with covers/pages intact, unmarked scoring grids and no creases! On the appropriate likenesses, bold signatures average (“9”) potency and include: Hank Aaron, Joe Adcock, Hank Bauer, Yogi Berra, Billy Bruton, Lou Burdette, Tommy Byrne, Andy Carey, Jerry Coleman, Gene Conley, Frank Crosetti, Art Ditmar, Whitey Ford, Bob Grim, Ernie Johnson, Johnny Kucks, Don Larsen, Johnny Logan (inscribed “23”), Jerry Lumpe, Felix Mantilla, Mickey Mantle, Eddie Mathews, Gil McDougald, Andy Pafko, Taylor Phillips, Bobby Richardson, Red Schoendienst, Moose Skowron, Enos Slaughter, Warren Spahn, Tom Sturdivant, Frank Torre and Bob Turley. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from Beckett.
