Description



The Colts are long gone and the Orioles are struggling – but happier days are relived in this lot of Charm City framed displays and autographed items. Highlights include:

 

Baltimore Orioles Autographs:

(2) Reggie Jackson: 1976 team-issued postcard signed in blue marker (“10” strength); and an August 30, 1976 Sports Illustrated signed on the cover in blue marker (“10” strength)

Cal Ripken, Jr. 8x10” photo signed in red marker (“10” strength)

(5) Brooks Robinson: (2) original news service photos; a June 1972 Sport Magazine; a July/August 1993 Legends Sports Memorabilia issue; and a 1995 memorabilia show pamphlet; signatures all (“10”) strength

 

Baltimore Colts Autographs:

(2) Johnny Unitas: a 1960 original news service photograph and a September 17, 1972 Baltimore Sun “Colts 1972” insert; both signed in black marker (both “10” strength)

Multi-Signed a 1962 Baltimore Colts comic book signed on the front cover (all “10” strength) by: Ordell Braase, Tom Matte, Lenny Moore and Andy Nelson

 

Framed Displays:

Orioles Park at Camden Yards a 1990 architect’s blue print framed to 38-3/4 x 26-7/16”

Cal Ripken, Jr. Milestone Tickets framed to 12-1/4 x 13-1/4”, a display features (5) full tickets (apparent EX condition) from games that featured: career hit #3000; consecutive game #2130; consecutive game #2131; consecutive game #2632; and the first game Ripken sat out (September 20, 1998) to end the streak

Significant Orioles Tickets framed to 20-1/4 x 16-1/4”, (9) full tickets and (1) stub (average apparent EX-MT condition) span the first-ever game at Memorial Stadium (April 17, 1954) to the September 6, 1996 game in which Eddie Murray hit his 500th career home run.
