Answer the question “buddy can you spare a dime” a thousand times over with this hefty hoard of (1,100+) Mercury Dimes. Dating from 1916-1945 these vintage ten-cent pieces have a 90% silver composition, adding up to some serious coin. In a surprising twist of titanic proportion, this accumulation includes an example of the highly coveted 1916-D key date coin in (AG+) condition. Typically bundles this large consist of coins that are valued at little more than their weight in silver. Our sage consignor has gone the extra mile and then some, by also including (12) semi-key date coins average (GD to GD+) with (6) 1921 and (6) 1921-D examples. The balance of (1,100+) silver dimes includes: (90+) 1916-1919 Mercury Dimes average (AG to GD); (140+) 1920s Mercury Dimes average (AG to VG); (110+) 1930s Mercury Dimes average (GD to FN); (760+) 1940s Mercury Dimes average (VG to VF) with some better. Also present are (3) Barber Dimes; and (12) Roosevelt Dimes.
