Designed by Nike fixture Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan XII was issued in November, 1996 during perhaps the most definitive chapter in the hoops icon’s unparalleled career. As a precursor to yet another NBA Finals MVP honor, Jordan authored the first triple-double in All-Star Game history. In a tense championship series against the Utah Jazz, Jordan proved to be the difference, winning Game 5 with a 3-pointer in the waning seconds – despite a fever of 103 degrees. Coveted by ballers from the playground to professional hardwood arenas, here is a pair of Air Jordan XII shoes, with one of them autographed by the namesake, himself! The white leather size “13” accessories feature the Jordan silhouette logo and “TWO 3” embroidered to the tongues, as well as “23” embossed on each heel in red numerals. On the outer ankle portion of the left shoe, Jordan has signed in black marker. The scripting takes well to the textured surface, projecting (“8-9”) strength. Accompanying is a full photo LOA from JSA.
