Description

Expand your horizons with this collection of rare 1930s non-sport issues from the tropical isle of Cuba. These pre-communist era collectibles are extremely tough to find in quantities of more than a few at a time, making this group of (350+) premiums and trading cards a tremendous find for those looking beyond domestic issues. Featured are:

c.1930 Jose L. Piedra Cigarros Album titled "Curiosidades Mundiales", which translates into English as "World Curiosities". Bound with thick cloth twine, this well-worn album shows considerable wear that is commensurate with its considerable age, however it retains significant integrity and period authentic appeal. Adhered to thirty-two pages is a complete set of (324) real photo cards depicting famous and exotic locales from points around the world, including the Tower of Pisa, the Acropolis, the Eiffel Tower, the Sphinx, Pyramids and much, much more. While some cards are spotted or surrounded by adhesive residue, they remain generally appealing in presenting average VG-EX to EX-MT details.

c.1937 Colgate-Palmolive "Revista Rosa - Avance" group of (47) 8x11 movie star premiums (average VG-EX to EX, 10% lesser) with: Cary Grant, Olivia De Haviland, Spencer Tracy, Kay Francis, Charles Laughton, (3) different Robert Taylor, Robert Young, Claudette Colbert, Fay Wray, Edward G. Robinson (writing), Rochelle Hudson, Alice Faye, Irene Dunne, Jeanette McDonald, Deanna Durbin, Miriam Hopkins, Carole Lombard, Ruby Keeler, Claire Trevor, Don Ameche, Tito Guizar, Fred McMurray, Ronald Coleman, Dolores Del Rio, Joan Blondell, Freddie Bartholomew, John Boles,  Simone Simon, Federic March, Melvyn Douglas, Nelson Eddy, June Travis, Rosalind Russell, Ingeborg Theek, Libertade LaMarque, Robert Donat, Charles Boyer, Ciro Verratti, William Powell, Randolph Scott, Joel McCrea, Franchot Tone, Paul Muni, Robert Montgomery and Gene Raymond.
