Despite having only one pitcher (Jim Merritt, 1970) to post a 20-win season during the entire decade, the Cincinnati Reds totaled more wins (953) than any team in Major League Baseball throughout the 1970s. And with a lineup like theirs, who needed pitching?! This color painting of the famed “Big Red Machine” is autographed by the club’s legendary skipper and eight everyday principals of the 1975 and 1976 World Champion rosters. Framed to 23-7/8 x 20-1/8”, the limited edition (23/50) piece portrays the potent sluggers and their manager posing at Riverfront Stadium and has been signed by each in red fiber tip marker. Bold scriptings average (“9-10”) strength and include (from left to right): George Foster, Tony Perez, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Sparky Anderson, Dave Concepcion, Cesar Geronimo, Ken Griffey and Pete Rose. Accompanying is a COA from SGC.
