One of the great venues in college football play, Notre Dame Stadium was officially dedicated on October 11, 1930. Whether you are Irish or not, you'll surely want to fight for this 10/11/30 Notre Dame football official program. In the third and final national championship season for beloved head coach Knute Rockne, the "Fighting Irish" steamrolled through a perfect 10-0 unbeaten season in 1930, including a 26-2 win over Navy on this stadium dedication day. Alas that this game came during coach Rockne's final campaign, as he met his fate prematurely less than six months later in a plane crash outside of Bazaar, KS on 3/31/31. Rockne is seen in spirit-like fashion, looming over the newly opened ND Stadium on the front cover of this historic gameday program. Though a vertical compacting fold at center and several spine cracks limit the grade designation for this ninety year old publication to (VG), it remains solid and broadly pleasing with captivating cover graphics and extensive content.
