Big 10 charter member the University of Illinois began college football play way back in 1890 and has long been a cornerstone of State pride. The greatest period of success for the "Fighting Illini" came during Robert Zuppke's 1913-1941 tenure as head coach, when the team won 7 conference titles and 4 national championships. Head back to the Zuppke era with this 1927-1939 collection of pins, programs and ticket stubs issued for "Homecoming" games.
