Coming off back-to-back losing campaigns for the first time ever during their championship-laden run in the NBA, the Boston Celtics drafted Indiana State product Larry Bird and, one year later, were champions again. These (2) items are headlined by bold Bird signatures. Includes:
Signed Boston Celtics Warm-Up Jacket: tailored by Mitchell & Ness, a size “48” green knit button-down jacket features “CELTICS” arched across the chest in white-on-yellow applique and a Velcro-fastened plate with “BIRD” displayed in green twill block-style characters on the upper back. The limited edition (106/133) keepsake is signed on the right front by Bird in silver-colored marker (“8-9” strength).
Signed “Signature Series” Porcelain Card: housed in a hinged wooden case measuring 16-3/4 x 6”, there are (4) limited edition (156/200) Upper Deck porcelain cards depicting Bird in various poses. The third card features images of Bird with both Indiana State and with the Celtics and is signed by its Hall of Fame subject in blue marker (“9-10” strength).
