Description



"Terrors of America" tobacco cards come front and center in both N136 large and N88 small formats with this collection of (28). These ancient cards were issued by W. Duke Sons & Co. in the 1880s, with the Duke's Cigarettes and Honest Long Cut brands. Desired for their classic artwork and scarcity in the case of the larger N136 types, these antique cards feature boys being boys while engaging in a variety of activities, including several playing baseball. Overall condition is very pleasing, with a range of (VG to EX) with deference to 33% with writing on the reverse and (2) lesser cards with reverse surface loss/adhesive residue.
