Description

Yale left fielder (and future football legend) Walter Camp went 1-for-4 and scored a run in the Elis' 9-5 win. Interestingly, opposing catcher Jim Tyng holds a distinction as the first Harvard player to reach the majors. Measuring 4-5/8" x 5-3/4", the beautiful, crisp, ornately designed "Championship Series" scorecard hails from Hamilton Park on June 23, 1879. It displays on front and inside as EX-MT, with adhesive mounting residue on reverse.
